Synopsis

What is the nature of creation for young audiences? What are the challenges of creating and programming for younger people? With what agendas are performing arts developed for children and youth? These are some of the questions that motivated the making of the documentary ARTE PEDRAS LIBERDADE, by António-Pedro and Caroline Bergeron. Fruit of the Conversas Emergentes project, a collaboration between Caótica and the National Arts Plan, the film is an invitation to reflect on the value of freedom in creation and artistic enjoyment, as well as on the present and future of performing arts dedicated to young audience in Portugal.
